Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accessing our storefront, requesting quotes, uploading artwork, or placing orders with Buhari Printers (Brant X).

Effective Date: September 2026 Jurisdiction: Thoothukudi & Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India Applies to: Retail Storefront & B2B Dealer Orders

Introduction

Welcome to Buhari Printers (operated under Brant X). By browsing our website, registering an account, submitting design files, requesting quotations, or placing an order through our storefront or sales representatives, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full.

These terms form a legally valid commercial understanding between you ("Customer", "Buyer", "You") and Buhari Printers ("Company", "We", "Our", "Us").

Buhari Printers reserves the right to review, modify, or update these terms and conditions at any time when required by changing operational requirements, manufacturing practices, or statutory legislation.

Product Information

We take reasonable care to describe and display all printing materials, specifications, and finishes as accurately as possible across our catalog. However, commercial printing involves physical manufacturing processes:

  • Representation Only: All product photographs, mockups, digital previews, and finish representations on this website are provided strictly for illustrative and reference purposes.
  • Printed Output Differences: The actual physical printed output may have minor aesthetic differences from the simulated digital display on your screen.
  • Manufacturing Variation: Finished product dimensions, paper GSM thickness, rigid sheet thickness (acrylic/foam), lamination textures, adhesive tack, and surface sheen are subject to reasonable commercial manufacturing tolerances (typically ±1mm to ±3% variance depending on substrate).
3

Colour Variation

Colour reproduction in commercial print production is governed by physics and chemical ink absorption. We want our customers to understand the technical realities clearly:

  • Screen vs Print Differences: Computer monitors, smartphones, and tablet screens emit light using the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) spectrum. Industrial printing presses apply physical pigments using CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key Black) inks or solvent/UV formulas. Consequently, colours viewed on a backlit screen will not look 100% identical to ink printed on paper, vinyl, or acrylic.
  • Material & Lamination Impact: Substrate characteristics (such as coated art paper vs uncoated kraft paper vs opaque vinyl), base paper brightness, and post-press finishing (gloss lamination, matte thermal lamination, or UV spot coating) significantly affect perceived colour hue and saturation.
  • Acceptable Tolerance: Minor colour variations between digital design files, digital proofs, and final production runs fall within normal industry standards and do not constitute a manufacturing or printing defect.
For Colour-Critical Jobs: If your project requires exact Pantone matching or strict brand colour parity, you must request and approve a physical printed sample/proof prior to bulk production, where such proofing option is available.
4

Customer Artwork & Design Responsibility

Buhari Printers relies directly on the digital artwork files provided or approved by the customer:

  • Content Verification: The customer bears sole responsibility for thoroughly inspecting all submitted artwork, graphics, typography, spelling, contact phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, GST numbers, dates, QR codes, and layout alignment before final approval or placement.
  • No Post-Approval Liability: Buhari Printers cannot be held responsible for typographical, linguistic, graphical, or data errors provided by the customer once the artwork has been approved or submitted for printing.
  • Intellectual Rights & Permissions: The customer represents and warrants that they own or possess all lawful licenses, rights, and authorisations to reproduce any artwork, photographs, logos, brand emblems, and copyrighted or trademarked elements submitted for printing.
5

Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only when:

  • The online checkout process is completed with a successful payment confirmation received from our payment gateway, OR
  • A written or verified order placement is logged in our production queue for approved B2B credit accounts.

Customers must verify the order confirmation details (quantity, material specifications, delivery address, and billing info) immediately upon receipt. If any clarification or design correction is required, Buhari Printers may reach out to the customer via WhatsApp, phone, or email before releasing the file to the press line.

6

Order Cancellation

Because commercial print manufacturing is customized and on-demand, special cancellation rules apply:

  • Pre-Production Window: An order may be cancelled only if the request is submitted and acknowledged by our team before physical plate making, film processing, material cutting, or press setup has commenced.
  • Post-Production Ineligibility: Once printing, laminating, die-cutting, or board assembly has started, cancellation is strictly not possible because the dedicated raw materials have already been irreversibly consumed.
  • Personalised & Custom Goods: Customised products manufactured to bespoke dimensions or customer artwork are non-cancellable once queued into the machine workflow.
  • Refund Eligibility: Eligibility for refunds on valid pre-production cancellations depends on the exact stage of job preparation, minus any pre-press file setup or transaction processing charges. Automatic refunds are not guaranteed for every cancellation request.
7

Order Modification

If you need to change job parameters—such as quantity, sheet dimensions, artwork revisions, substrate weight, finishing lamination, or shipping destination:

  • Modifications can only be accepted if requested before plate setting or print initiation.
  • Any price differences, additional tooling charges, pre-press re-work fees, or address changes caused by the modification will be charged to the customer and must be settled before dispatch.
  • Modifications requested after printing has begun cannot be accommodated without incurring full reprint costs.
8

Payment & Gateway Security

All online orders requiring digital payment must be accompanied by a successful authorization status from our payment gateway:

  • Unsuccessful Payments: Orders with failed, abandoned, or pending unconfirmed transactions will not be forwarded to our production schedule.
  • Gateway Delays: Buhari Printers is not responsible for temporary downtime, bank network timeouts, two-factor authentication failures, or processing delays experienced by external banking partners or payment intermediaries.
  • Credential Confidentiality: Buhari Printers does NOT store, access, or handle customer credit card numbers, debit card PINs, CVVs, or Net Banking credentials. All payment operations are routed securely through RBI-compliant, PCI-DSS certified payment processors (such as PayU / UPI).
9

Pricing & Display Errors

Prices published on the website are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable taxes (such as GST), delivery surcharges, and customized option costs displayed during checkout.

The final payable amount is the itemized grand total clearly shown in the checkout invoice summary.

In the rare event that an item is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical or technical display errors, Buhari Printers reserves the right to correct the error prior to production. We will contact you immediately to give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it with a full refund.

10

Production Time

Production turnaround begins only after artwork has been formally approved and payment has been confirmed:

  • Variables: Manufacturing timelines vary depending on product category, order volume, artwork readiness, raw material availability, and current press capacity.
  • Estimated, Not Guaranteed: Turnaround times displayed on the website are realistic operational estimates and do not represent a guaranteed contractual delivery date unless explicitly agreed in writing for specialized express jobs.
  • Uncontrollable Delays: Production schedules may occasionally be delayed by machinery maintenance, raw material stock delays, artwork clarification holdups, power outages, public holidays, or extreme weather conditions.
11

Delivery & Courier Transit

Orders are dispatched via reputable third-party logistics partners, local courier services, or freight carriers:

  • Transit Duration: Delivery transit time depends on the shipping destination, courier route conditions, regional checkpoints, and logistical factors outside the direct operational control of Buhari Printers.
  • Address Accuracy: The customer must ensure that the complete delivery address, contact person's name, active telephone number, and postal PIN code are entered correctly.
  • Re-Delivery Charges: If a shipment fails to deliver or is returned to our facility due to an incomplete/incorrect customer address, customer unavailability, or refusal to accept the package, any re-dispatch and return freight fees must be paid by the customer before re-shipping.
12

Inspection on Delivery

We take pride in secure packaging. To protect your rights in transit claims:

  • Prompt Examination: Please inspect the exterior package and its printed contents immediately upon receiving the delivery from the courier.
  • Damage Documentation: If you observe visible package tampering, tear, moisture damage, or severe crushing, please document the parcel with clear photographs or an unboxing video before opening or discarding materials.
  • Retain Original Packaging: Retain the original carton, outer courier bag, and shipping labels until any discrepancy is verified and resolved with our customer support team.
13

Damaged / Defective Products

Buhari Printers stands behind our workmanship. In case of manufacturing or quality concerns:

  • Case-by-Case Assessment: Alleged manufacturing, cutting, binding, or printing errors will be investigated on a case-by-case basis by our quality assurance team.
  • Verification Requirements: Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide high-resolution photos/videos alongside the order ID clearly illustrating the reported defect.
  • Remedies: If a verified production defect is confirmed to have originated in our facility, we will offer an appropriate remedy—such as a prompt re-print of the affected quantity or a store credit/refund.
  • Non-Qualifying Issues: Defect claims will NOT qualify if caused by customer-submitted spelling mistakes, low-resolution customer images, post-delivery mishandling, improper outdoor mounting, or normal environmental wear.
14

Returns & Refunds Policy

Due to the tailored nature of custom printing:

  • No Change of Mind Returns: Custom printed or personalized goods cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded simply because the customer changed their mind, no longer requires the event, or prefers a different style after production.
  • Approved Refunds: When a refund is formally approved (for verified pre-production cancellation or confirmed manufacturing defects where re-printing is not viable), it will be processed back to the original source payment method or credited to the customer account.
  • Processing Timeline: Refunds typically take 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your bank account, depending on your card issuer or banking intermediary guidelines.
15

Customised & Bespoke Products

Customised items (such as visiting cards, custom die-cut vinyl stickers, acrylic LED boards, signage, bill books, and corporate stationery) are fabricated strictly based on customer-submitted or customer-approved design specifications.

Normal industrial manufacturing tolerances—including slight variations in guillotine cutting (±1mm), sheet registration, mechanical folding, and lamination bond—fall within acceptable trade standards. Approval of design proofs by the customer confirms readiness for manufacturing under these standard tolerances.

16

Intellectual Property & Website Content

All content on the Buhari Printers / Brant X website—including site architecture, user interfaces, branding graphics, product illustrations, guides, icons, software scripts, and promotional copy—is the exclusive intellectual property of Buhari Printers or its respective licensors and is protected by applicable Indian and international copyright laws.

  • Hate speech, incitement to violence, or materials violating communal harmony or national security.
  • Content that blatantly infringes on third-party intellectual property or registered trademarks without legal authority.
18

Privacy & Data Protection

We take customer privacy and data security seriously. Customer details provided during registration, quote inquiries, or checkout are managed with integrity:

While Buhari Printers aims to keep its online portal accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, temporary website downtime may occasionally occur for routine server maintenance, software updates, security upgrades, or telecommunications infrastructure failures.

We do not warrant that website functions will be completely uninterrupted or error-free at all moments. We appreciate your patience during scheduled technical maintenance.

20

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permissible by applicable law:

  • Buhari Printers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including loss of business profits, missed event dates, or reputational loss) arising from delayed shipments, printing variations, or courier delays beyond our reasonable control.
  • In any event, our total aggregate liability for any direct claim arising in connection with an order shall not exceed the total purchase price actually paid by the customer for that specific order.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes statutory consumer rights and protections that cannot lawfully be disclaimed under applicable Indian consumer laws.
21

Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)

Buhari Printers shall not be held responsible or considered in breach of contract for failure or delay in performing our manufacturing or delivery obligations where such failure arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable foresight and control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God, heavy monsoons, floods, coastal storms, earthquakes, or cyclones.

  • Statewide or national power grid failures and telecommunications/internet provider outages.
